Sometimes on the sub you hear people saying things like “don’t feel bad about missing out on BTC early because you would never have held anyway”. And those posts get lots of upvotes.
However we do have a HODL culture in crypto and I suspect there are many who hold even after massive gains and subsequent losses.
I got into crypto over 10 years ago and the mantra on forums was hold. So I vote holding too long because after getting big gains I see big losses – especially on alts. I never cashed out. Sometimes even doing 100x followed by 99% loss. Fun times.
