There is a wave of spambots directing people to go to a fraudulent “ether” subreddit to “verify” they are not on an AML list. This is a scam designed to steal your crypto. Don’t click any links.

There is a reasonably well doctored fraudulent post that has been going around for the past few hours about how you may be at risk for your funds being seized if you ever traded any crypto on a dex and then later moved it to a centralized exchange to be traded – this is a scam. The scammers are banking on your fears of losing your crypto to regulatory hurdles in order to trick you into signing a malicious smart contract that will give a wallet drainer full unfettered access to your metamask wallet.
