Migrating social community from META to Web3. What are my options?

I am new to web3 so any suggestions, advice, or thoughts are appreciated.

I run a social community with a 1000+ active members that live on whatsapp and IG. We also do in person events. Goal is to basically have our own social platform. Chat, set events, subgroups, pictures and charge memberships.

I want to migrate to a decentralized platform that allows us more admin control to keep our customer data private from 3rd party platforms. We also have the hope of utilizing digital currency for payments.
